I joined the crypto industry at the height of the NFT Summer in 2021. I worked to join videogame mechanics with a crypto economic layer on Improbable's vision of the Metaverse, where I built the would-be DAO treasury and governance system. Then moved to create various experiments (cross-chain identity prototypes on ERC-6551, dynamic-metadata NFTs, and a marketplace wired into Unity) as part of a newly created R&D section.
From there I moved over to Somnia, the fastest L1 ever, where I led engineering from devnet to mainnet. This was easily one of the most intense times in my career. I led a team of 5 developers, attended conferences as a speaker and supported 60+ ecosystem projects as they integrated for Somnia's mainnet launch. We also shipped the consensus and staking contracts that now hold over 20% of the SOMI supply, vesting smart contracts for investors, built the quest platform that verified and rewarded 95,000+ contributors, and put together everything else a TGE demands.
Now I work at the intersection of crypto and AI. At Charms we built AI companion agents with their own token and economy, with a huge focus on great UI that abstracts away most of the pure Web3 bits for regular users: embedded wallets, token launches with Clanker and cross-chain swaps across Base, Solana, and BNB.
I also take a small number of freelance projects at this intersection, where reliability matters more than a flashy demo, and I write about what I build along the way.
